भीड़ is a trip to the Indian subcontinent, one of the most populated regions in the whole planet. In the crowded streets one can find the most vibrating individuality, the singularity that makes up the chaos.
Photos were taken by Gustavo Sanabria between March 25 and April 26 of 2010.
In this series there are, like in a log book, portraits from India (Rajastan and Uttar Pradesh) and Nepal, people found by chance along the way, showing shape and soul, modernity and tradition, omnipresent religion and an inmense and disarming humanity.

Gustavo, what a magical series of portraits. I was looking for inspiration for my upcoming trip back to Zimbabwe and your pictures have definitely given me that. My favorite by far is the front and back cover images but there are also some real gems contained within the pages. I do a lot of portraiture myself but tend to use lights more often than not, you have embraced the natural light and it has provided some awesome results.
